It’s easy in 3 steps!
1. Become a paid member of SSA by following the membership process on the SSA website and paying R300 to SSA, which covers your WP Surfing annual membership, go to www.surfingsouthafrica.co.za
2. Enter the trials here https://liveheats.com/ – Register for the event under Western Province Surfing using your existing login, or create a new account then register with your details
3. Pay WP Surfing directly R500 for all 3 trials to validate your entry into the trials for the teams for Vic Bay Quad and SA Championships.

4 x Over 30 (must turn at least 31 in 2021) – at least one must be over 35 (must turn 36 in 2021)
4 x Over 40 (must turn 41 in 2021) – at least one must be over 45 (must turn 46 in 2021)
2 x Over 50 (must turn 51 in 2021)
2 x Women (any age)
 
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE TRIALS
– Select FIND EVENT on the top right of the window
– Type WESTERN PROVINCE SURFING under organization name
– Select WP Surfing Masters & Open Trial #1 and complete the registration form
 
SELECTION PROCESS FOR SA CHAMPS
– best 2 out of 3 trials results
– highest heat score will be used to break the tie
 
SELECTION PROCESS FOR VIC BAY QUAD ALL OTHER DIVISIONS
– best 2 out of 3 trials results
– highest heat score will be used to break the tie
 
SELECTION PROCESS FOR VIC BAY QUAD O40
– Top 4 placed O40 will surf against the top 4 placed O45 in 2 x seeding heats
– The top 3 will progress to semi finals
– The top 2 will progress to final
– Top 4 selected
 
 
SELECTION PROCESS FOR VIC BAY QUAD O50 

– Top 4 placed O50 will surf against the top 4 placed O55 in 2 x seeding heats
– The top 3 will progress to semi finals
 
– The top 2 will progress to final

– Top 4 placed OPEN will surf against the top 4 placed O30 in 2 x seeding heats
