Three WP Junior Surfing Trials were held over the past few months with the top two results of each surfer being considered for WP Junior Team selection. Wild Card applications and the Surfing South Africa requirements for all Provincial Surfing Teams were also considered to determine the final list of surfers to make up the 2009 WP Surfing Junior Surfing team.
Congratulations to all the surfers who made the team and better luck next time to those who did not make the team this year.

The 2009 SA Junior Championships will be held at Nahoon Reef in East London from the 30 September until the 4 October 2009. The Opening Function will be on the evening of the 29th September
