SEA HARVEST CAPE CROWN presented by REEF and supported by DCAS
It has been a long time without any surf contests… We don’t know when all sport will get back to normality, but to get things going again SSA and WP Surfing have arranged an exciting end of year contest.

Thanks to sponsorship from Sea Harvest and support from Reef Wetsuits, the Western Cape Government, SSA & WP Surfing are excited to announce that the annual Sea Harvest Cape Crown – presented by Reef will take place in Cape Town in mid- December.

This contest will include girls and boys divisions for U21, U16, U14 and U12 surfers and will take place at Long Beach on the 11th, 12th & 13th December with Muizenberg as a backup venue if conditions at Long Beach are not suitable. Friday 11th December will be used to surf the preliminary rounds.

As this is a National contest it is open to all South African surfers in the age groups listed above. There is no SAST (South African Surf Tour) this year and therefore no SAST ratings but this contest will offer prize money and give everyone the opportunity to compete again and claim bragging rights, if that’s your thing.

This contest is presented and sanctioned by SSA and entries must be completed online via the SSA website at www.surfingsouthafrica.co.za

Under Covid 19 regulations all contestants must be registered, paid up members of SSA in order to enter any SSA sanctioned contest.
